We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Fitter/Inspector.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered
Willing to identify and note inspection deficiencies and service required to correct those deficiencies.
Adhere to all OSHA, customer and company safety policies and procedures
Demonstrate cooperation, teamwork, and a commitment to professional and organizational development
Have a willingness to learn and maintain Control Systems Inc culture and keep up with trade training
Report to and follow all instruction given by Supervisor and Scheduler
Report to assigned work sites at or before required start times
Follow all company and customer protocols, procedures, and paperwork
Sprinkler Systems
Familiarity with NFPA 13 (Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems) and NFPA 25 (Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems). Ability to conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Fire Alarm
Understanding of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code).
Knowledge of fire alarm system components, including detectors, control panels, notification devices, and wiring.
Portable Fire Extinguishers
NFPA Standards: Familiarity with NFPA 10 (Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers).
Ability to inspect, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers to ensure they are in proper working condition.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
NICET Level I or higher in Fire Alarm Systems or Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems is preferred.
Valid Ohio Fire Protection Certification in relevant categories, such as:
Ohio Fire Alarm Certification
Ohio Sprinkler Certification
Ohio Fire Pump Certification Preferred
Underground Certification Preferred
Ohio Portable Fire Extinguisher Certification
Current and clear Ohio driver's license, a clean driving record, and a clear criminal background.
