Overview

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Flaggers to support our Low Voltage Installation teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing traffic in a commercial construction environment, in and around job sites, ensuring a safe working environment for both our installation crews and the public. Prior experience as a flagger or working in construction zones is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control traffic flow at and around job sites to ensure the safety of workers.
  • Set up and take down traffic signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices in accordance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with low voltage installation crews to allow safe movement of personnel and vehicles in active work zones.
  • Monitor surroundings and communicate hazards or unsafe conditions to the installation team and supervisors.
  • Assist with basic site preparation, cleanup, and material handling as needed.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times.
  • Accurately follow flagging procedures and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe behavior to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Maintain all necessary safety gear and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass background and driving record checks.
  • Previous flagging or construction site experience preferred.
  • Possession of an OSHA or NCCER certification a plus
  • Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction precisely.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a construction environment, around construction equipment, and in potentially noisy environments.
  • Able to wear appropriate PPE, including safety vest, hard hat, gloves, and boots.

Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
