Overview

We are seeking an experienced Foreman/Field Superintendent/Field Supervisor with a strong background in commercial electrical installation to join our team. In this role, you will oversee field operations, lead installation crews, and ensure quality workmanship and safe practices on medium and large commercial projects. The ideal candidate has journeyman-level experience in commercial electrical systems, installation, and troubleshooting, along with strong leadership and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and participate in the installation of commercial electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, conduit, panels, and associated infrastructure.

  • Assist with field installations to maintain project progress and support project closeout.

  • Provide direction and guidance to on-site electrical installation teams; coordinate daily activities and ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications.

  • Communicate consistently with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

  • Lead the execution of the installation plan, including equipment delivery, troubleshooting, system testing, and coordination with other trades.

  • Resolve field issues by evaluating multiple solutions and implementing the most effective option.

  • Meet with inspectors and code officials to arrange for permits, address code issues, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.

  • Coordinate project activities with general contractors and other trades to maximize installation efficiency.

  • Communicate professionally with contractors, building owners, and project stakeholders.

  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and product manuals.

  • Identify installation challenges and recommend effective solutions to complete the project scope.

  • Assist customers on-site with questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide regular project status updates to management.

  • Complete all required company paperwork accurately and on time.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Journeyman-level experience in commercial electrical installation (required).

  • Familiarity with electrical equipment, tools, conduit bending, panel installation, wiring methods, and commissioning of electrical systems.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to meet company standards for background and driving requirements.

  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic digital tools.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to use tact and diplomacy with customers and jobsite personnel.

  • Reliable, predictable attendance.

 

Physical Requirements

 

· Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. 

· Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting up to 75lbs.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $50.00 /Hr.
