We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Alarm Installer to oversee and execute the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. This individual will lead a team of technicians, ensure code compliance, coordinate with project stakeholders, and deliver high-quality installations on time and within budget.
· Supervise and lead fire alarm installation crews on job sites.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
· Plan daily installation activities, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ requirements, and company standards.
· Install, wire, program, and test fire alarm systems including panels, detectors, pull stations, notification devices, etc.
· Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper integration and scheduling.
· Perform quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot system issues.
· Document installations, service reports, and code compliance paperwork.
· Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices.
· Maintain project schedule and track progress using project management tools or logs.
· Ensure crew follows safety procedures, site regulations, and proper use of PPE.
· Report progress and issues to Project Manager or Operations leadership.
· Interface with clients and AHJs during inspections or system handovers.
· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
· Minimum 4–6 years of experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
· NICET Level II preferred
· Denver Fire Alarm License
· Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and industry best practices.
· Proficiency with systems from manufacturers like Notifier, Silent Knight, EST, Siemens, Gamewell, Honeywell, etc a MUST
· Ability to use hand and power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
