Overview

Controls Systems Inc. is a fast-growing low-voltage contracting company, and we’re currently seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team. This critical role requires a dynamic and motivated individual to manage purchase orders and purchasing responsibilities, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration with our vendors.

 

Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders daily.
  • Respond promptly to routine and incoming inquiries.
  • Create, edit, review and follow up with vendors regarding placed orders.
  • Review job budgets to ensure material is within the allocated budget.
  • Responsible for submitting completed purchase orders to various vendors.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure expectations, deadlines and service quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Field Technicians, and more.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong time management skills to handle competing priorities and address urgent requests promptly.
  • Quick learner with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening.

USD $23.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
