Overview

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Systems Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and scheduling multiple commercial and multifamily residential low voltage projects, as well as providing direct oversight and management of the installation team and project budgets.

Responsibilities

    • Direct responsibility for managing the installation of fire life safety, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, structured cabling, CCTV, DAS, nurse call, paging, and other low voltage systems in commercial and multifamily buildings.
    • Directly manage, supervise, schedule, and provide daily direction to an installation team comprised of Project Managers, Installers, Technicians, and Foremen.
    • Develop and execute installation project plans, including equipment delivery, material procurement, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning to successfully complete projects while exceeding customer expectations.
    • Coordinate and communicate with customers, the sales team, and other contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Review contract drawings, specifications, CSI proposals, and shop drawings for accuracy as they relate to CSI's scope of work.
    • Consult with the CSI engineering team as needed to develop effective system designs.
    • Resolve project design and installation challenges by researching and implementing effective solutions.
    • Meet with code officials to obtain building permits, address code-related issues, and discuss intended wiring and installation methods.
    • Coordinate project activities with other trades to optimize installation schedules and workflow.
    • Review and understand CSI's contractual scope of work by interpreting contracts, blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and product manuals.
    • Identify out-of-scope requests from customers or contractors and notify sales and management of potential change orders.
    • Recommend efficient installation methods to ensure successful project completion.
    • Respond to customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner while on site.
    • Develop schedules of values for projects and prepare monthly billing documentation.
    • Effectively communicate project status, progress, and potential issues to management.
    • Complete all required company documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  

  • Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.  

  • Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.  

  • Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.  

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience managing low voltage system projects.  

  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

Posted Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
