We are seeking a dependable General Laborer / Spotter to support field installation teams on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. This is an entry-level construction support position. Previous fire alarm or low-voltage experience is not required. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, comfortable working on active construction sites, and able to follow direction in a highly structured data center environment.
Serve as a spotter for technicians operating lifts, equipment, carts, or vehicles in active data center construction areas.
Provide flagging and traffic-direction assistance when required on the jobsite.
Maintain constant awareness of surrounding workers, equipment, overhead work, pedestrians, and potential hazards.
Assist field technicians with moving tools, equipment, ladders, materials, cable, and supplies.
Help prepare, barricade, and maintain safe and organized work areas.
Assist with material staging, delivery support, housekeeping, and cleanup.
Help protect active installation zones and maintain safe access around work areas.
Follow verbal instructions from foremen, technicians, project managers, and site supervisors.
Follow all company, OSHA, data center site safety, security, badging, and access-control requirements.
Properly use required personal protective equipment at all times.
Assist installation crews with basic non-technical tasks as directed.
Support documentation, material counts, or simple site logistics as requested.
Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Construction, warehouse, general labor, flagging, data center, or jobsite experience is a plus.
Strong awareness of jobsite safety and ability to remain attentive for extended periods.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on project conditions.
Ability to lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment as required.
Comfortable working around ladders, lifts, vehicles, and construction equipment.
Ability to comply with strict data center security, access, and site procedures.
Dependable transportation to assigned jobsites.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Must meet company background requirements.
